  We provide a two-step consultation to provide the clearest estimates for your project. First, you will meet with a Revive Property Advisor virtually to discuss the details of your renovation. Next, a general contractor will conduct an on-site consultation to assess the condition of the spaces where flooring work is needed and design an informed, detailed plan for prepping and repair or installation.

• Materials Selection & Preparation
  Based on your flooring needs and specifications, we will select and source the necessary materials and prep the areas of your home where flooring will be installed or repaired before construction begins.

• Installation
  Our flooring contractors will work based on the pre-established timeline to install all flooring materials to fulfill the contracted scope of work.

• Finishing & Cleanup
  Contractors will finalize any finishing touches to the flooring and clean up all debris left behind from the construction to prepare the area for inspection.

• Final Walkthrough

Q. What types of flooring do you install and repair?

A. We offer solid and engineered hardwood flooring, laminate, vinyl/luxury vinyl plank (LVP), tile, and carpeting installation and repair services.

Q. Do I need to replace water-damaged floors?

A. The need to replace water-damaged floors depends on the extent of the damage, the type of flooring, and how long the issue has persisted. Minor damage may just need simple cleaning and maintenance. More extensive damage, prolonged exposure to moisture, or damage to the subfloor often require complete replacement. 

Q. What’s the difference between refinishing and replacing?

A. Typically, refinishing floors includes sanding down existing flooring to smooth out any scratches, dents, or other imperfections and applying a new stain and finish, and is generally the more affordable option. Replacing flooring involves removing the old flooring and installing new material, which is generally more expensive than refinishing, due to the cost of new materials and labor for both removal and installation. 

Q. Can you work around furniture or ongoing construction?

For Renovate To Sell projects, the property or area undergoing renovation must be vacant with no furniture or other contractors. For Renovate To Stay projects, we can work around furniture with specified disclosures in place, but we do not overlap with other contractor work or construction in process.
