This Privacy Policy explains how Revive HQ, Inc. (“Revive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with our websites (including www.revive.realestate and any site that links to this Policy), our mobile applications, and the related content, platforms, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy does not address our privacy practices relating to job applicants, employees, contractors, or other personnel.

We want you to understand what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.

1) What Is “Personal Information”?

“Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to a person or household. It does not include aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.

Examples we may collect:

  • Identifiers: name, email, phone, mailing address, IP address, account credentials.
  • Property Information: ownership details, property condition, renovation history, valuations.
  • Financial Information: bank/payments data (processed by third parties), income, mortgage/equity data.
  • Commercial Information: products/services purchased or considered, transaction history.
  • Internet/Device Info: device ID, browser type, OS, IP, geolocation, error logs, usage data.
  • Professional Info: license status, company affiliation, role (for agents, contractors, partners).
  • Inferences: renovation budgets, valuations, or property insights generated by Revive AI.
  • Sensitive Information (as defined by certain state laws): e.g., SSN/Tax ID (if provided for 1099 or financing), account credentials, financial account numbers with security codes, precise geolocation (if enabled), and limited demographics where permitted by law. We do not sell sensitive information or use it for targeted advertising.

2) How We Collect Personal Information

  • You provide it directly (e.g., when creating an account, submitting property info, uploading documents, contacting support, or consenting to communications).
  • Automatically collected (cookies, device identifiers, usage logs, session replay tools like Hotjar, analytics tools like Google Analytics).
  • From third parties (our affiliates, your employer/brokerage, service providers, business partners, SSO logins, social media interactions, MLS/public records).

3) How We Use Personal Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve the Services.
  • Facilitate introductions between homeowners, agents, contractors, lenders, or investors.
  • Generate valuations, renovation scopes, and visualizations via Revive AI (informational only).
  • Administer accounts, programs, and transactions.
  • Communicate with you (service updates, project info, promotional offers).
  • Personalize content and ads.
  • Detect and prevent fraud/security incidents.
  • Conduct analytics, research, and market studies.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and financing.
  • Enforce agreements and comply with law.

We may share with:

  • Affiliates/Subsidiaries (Revive Realty LLC, Revive Construction LLC, HomePrep LLC, Revive Offers LLC).
  • Service providers/processors (payments, analytics, hosting, support, marketing vendors).
  • Agents, contractors, lenders, and partners if you request/authorize introductions.
  • Legal/regulatory authorities when required.
  • Business transfers (merger, acquisition, sale).
  • With your consent/direction.

Referral Compensation Disclosure: Revive may receive referral fees, commissions, program fees, or equity participation when we make introductions.

Mobile Numbers & Consent: By providing your phone number, you consent to calls/texts/automated messages (opt out anytime by replying STOP).

5) Cookies, Tracking, and Online Ads

We and partners use cookies and similar tools to:

  • Remember preferences and keep you logged in.
  • Provide personalized content and interest-based ads.
  • Track engagement and cross-device use.
  • Business transfers (merger, acquisition, sale).

We honor browser-based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing, consistent with California law. Opt-out details are in Your Choices below.

6) Revive AI

Revive AI outputs (valuations, renovation scopes, visualizations) are for informational purposes only. They are not appraisals, inspections, or legal/financial advice and must not be relied upon for regulatory, lending, or insurance purposes.

7) Data Retention

We retain Personal Information:

  • Financial/legal records: up to 7 years.
  • Property/project data: until services complete or longer if required.
  • Call/communication records: as needed for compliance/training.

When no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or securely store until deletion is possible.

Depending on your state, you may have the right to:

  • Know/access what we collect.
  • Get a portable copy.
  • Correct inaccuracies.
  • Delete your data.

  • Be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.

We will verify your identity before processing. You may also authorize an agent with proof (power of attorney or signed authorization). Appeals may be submitted to legal@revive.realestate with subject “Privacy Request Appeal.”

10) Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

11) Deidentified Data

We may create and use deidentified data and will not reidentify it except as legally allowed.

12) Security

We use encryption, access controls, monitoring, and employee training to protect data. However, no system is 100% secure.

13) Region-Specific Disclosures

  • California (CPRA): You have rights to know, correct, delete, opt out, and limit sensitive data use. You may also submit a yearly “Shine the Light” request by emailing info@revive.realestate with subject line “Request for California Privacy Information.”
  • Nevada: Opt out of future sales of covered information by emailing info@revive.realestate or submitting at this link.
  • Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah: You may exercise additional rights (including appeals) via the same form or contact info above.
  • Categories disclosed (last 12 months): Identifiers, Personal Records, Property Info, Commercial Info, Professional Info, Internet/Network Activity, Inferences, and limited Sensitive Info.
  • Sale/sharing: We may “sell” or “share” identifiers, commercial info, internet/network info, and inferences with ad partners for targeted ads (subject to opt out). We do not sell sensitive data.
  • Data Retention: As described in Section 7.
  • Notice of Financial Incentives: We may offer rebates, referral credits, or promotions tied to your data. Participation is voluntary and opt-in. Value is reasonably related to the data we collect, considering costs of collection, storage, and administration. Opt out anytime using program instructions or the privacy request form.

14) Links to Third-Party Sites

We may link to third-party sites or services we don’t control. Their policies apply, not ours.

15) International Transfers

Your data may be stored or processed in the U.S. or other countries. Where required, we use contractual or other safeguards.

16) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. We will update the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice (e.g., email, banner) if changes are material. Continued use of the Services means you accept changes.
