Summary

Compass agent Nate Serdy was approached by a former high school buddy and sole trustee of his late father's estate. Faced with the option of selling as-is for $950,000, Nate proposed his friend renovate the home before selling to increase the sales value. Partnering with Revive, Nate and Property Advisor Jon Salas came up with a renovation plan that would help make the home move-in-ready. Revive fronted $265,560 worth of renovations, interest-free, which covered flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, and outdoor improvements. The strategically thought-out improvements helped the home sell for $1,375,000, netting a $159,440 profit for the estate and boosting Nate's commission by 44.74%. This project helped Nate ensure his friend sold for the most money possible and demonstrated the power pre-sale renovations can make on the value of a home.
