You'll be joining a fast-paced & fun startup with a hyper-growth mindset.The Staff Attorney will be an in-house counsel and support Revive in a number of ways. This includes strategy and support for sales/partnership contracting activities globally. The right candidate will have experience negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, strong time management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a “can-do” problem solving mindset, and a commitment to career growth and personal development. An interest in technology/real estate, a keen eye for process improvement, and good sense of humor are also valuable.

Job Description

Structure, draft and provide expertise in business and legal requirements to support a high volume and broad range of commercial contracts, including sales contracts, service agreements, professional services agreements, , etc.

  • Advise on legal, regulatory and compliance requirements for real estate / financial services products and services
  • Respond to legal inquiries, assisting the company's personnel and internal clients with regard to legal issues as needed.
  • Provide general subject matter guidance to business and legal teams regarding partnership and go-to-market matters.
  • Build relationships with the business stakeholders and teams. Understand and support their vision and priorities.
  • Bring in other experts – we don’t expect you to have all the answers – but you need to be a connector, bringing the experts together from other areas of the business to reach the correct decisions in support of the business at the right times.
  • Engage with customers and partners on relevant matters and in cases of escalations

Who You Are:

A qualified attorney admitted to practice in California

  • 2+ years relevant experience and demonstrated success as a lawyer/ commercial attorney with relevant experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal department.
  • Experience supporting a sales organization/high-growth company with significant knowledge of commercial contracts terms common in the information technology industry.
  • Proven ability to provide entrepreneurial, quick-thinking, pragmatic, business-oriented advice and recommendations that distinguish between theoretical and practical risk.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and open-minded approach.
  • Team player, works well in fast paced environment
  • Real estate interest/experience is a plus
